Upon inspection, it was found that the main link road to Khawos was blocked by debris, with a significant portion of private land buried under mud, boulders, and uprooted trees. Irrigation channels in the area also sustained severe damage.

Treating the matter as a priority, the SDM deployed heavy machinery from the Mechanical Department, PMGSY, private agencies, and Topline to clear the rubble and restore connectivity. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of government departments, agencies, and local volunteers, the road was made motorable by 2:00 AM the same night.
