Chandigarh: The Haryana government today announced to increase the financial assistance being given to the families of Kashmiri migrants displaced from Jammu and Kashmir residing in Haryana from Rs 1000 to Rs 2500 per month per family.
A decision to this effect has been taken by the Haryana Cabinet, which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Such families of Kashmiri migrants who have maximum annual income of Rs 50,000 were eligible for the financial assistance which would be given to them for a period of two years for their re-settlement.
