Varanasi, July 1 The district court has dismissed a criminal review petition seeking its direction to file an FIR against a member of the Gyanvapi mosque committee for making efforts to convert the religious character and core structure of Kashi Vishweshwar temple.
The petition filed by Jitendra Singh was dismissed by District Judge Ajay Krishna Vishvesha on June 27.
The judges said the applicant has not explicitly mentioned any fact on the basis of which any cognizable offense appears to have been committed.
The court said the lower court had made no mistake in rejecting the application of the applicant.
