Govt says, 676 persons detained under PSA in 2016-17

Jammu, January 12 (KMW): The Jammu and Kashmir government Friday informed the legislative assembly that the total number of 552 persons in 2016 were detained under PSA during 2016 and all of them have been released.
Similarly, in the year, 2017,201 persons were detained under PSA, out of which 124 persons have been released and 77 are still under preventive detention.
The was revealed by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in a written reply to a question of NC legislator of Mubarak Gul.
