Srinagar, Jan 24 : As the deadlock over government formation continues in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Saturday said that the people will see the positive breakthrough in this regard within few days.
“See our leadership is working hard to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir. I can say you from here that the issue is in the final shape and people of Jammu and Kashmir will see the positive breakthrough in this regard within few days,†senior BJP leader and core group member Dr Nirmal Singh, who was in New Delhi to meet party high command, told news agency over phone.
He said the state leadership of the BJP reached Delhi on the directions of high command and conveyed them about the recent developments with regard to alliance for government formation. “We also put forth our views regarding the forthcoming Rajya Sabha elections in the state,†Singh said.
It is to mention here that the leaders who had been called to New Delhi include MP and former state president, Jugal Kishore Sharma, National Executive Member and newly-elected MLA, Dr Nirmal Singh, and General Secretary (Organization), Ashok Koul.
