Govt. deliberately keeping separatists away from People: Mirwaiz.

Srinagar: Stating that people were the actual owners of the land Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq on Monday said, separatists were deliberately being kept away from people to muzzle the voice of dissent. He however said that every possible effort would be made to reach out to the masses and apprise them of the prevailing situation viz a viz, Kashmir issue.

“Govt. has been trying to keep us away from people which has prompted us to call the meeting to formulate the counter strategy.” Mirwaiz told news agency on Monday evening.
Earlier he chaired a joint meeting of General and executive council at Raj Bagh headquarters where the members expressed concern over the prevailing issue.
Meanwhile the conglomerate constituted five different committees and nominated its five members to head the committees.
