Governor administers Oath to Nazir Ahmed as State Information Commissioner

JAMMU: Mr. N. N. Vohra, Jammu and Kashmir Governor, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Nazir Ahmed as the State Information Commissioner at a function held at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
The Governor wished Mr. Nazir Ahmed a most successful tenure as the State Information Commissioner. He hoped that now as State Information Commission was fully constituted, Mr. G. R. Sufi, State Chief Information Commissioner and his team would be able to provide strong support to the Chief Minister and the State Government in rooting out corruption from J&K.
Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, Mr. Qamar Ali Akhoon, Minister for Transport, Mr. Kuldeep Khoda, Director General of Police, Mr. G. R. Sufi, State Chief Information Commissioner and Dr. Sudesh Kumar Sharma, State Information Commissioner were among those present at the Oath Ceremony.
