Government committed to provide quality education to youth of J&K:Slathia

JAMMU: Minister for Industries and Commerce Mr S.S. Slathia today attended a well organized function by the R.S. College of Education on the eve of Annual Day at village Kanayari Janglote , Kathua .
Mr Slathia was chief guest on the occasion. MLA Bimla Luthra was a special guest.
On the occasion, District Development Commissioner, Kathua Mrs Zahida Khan, S. S. P Kathua Mr J. L. Sharma, MLA Mrs Bimla Luthra, MLA Kathua ,Mr Charanjeet Singh were also present.
The Minister was apprised about the activities of the college. He was also informed that University of Jammu also allotted 270 students to the institution.
The Minister appreciated the role of management for organizing such type of functions in the educational institutions which would help the students to boost their moral in their studies.
The Minister said that government is committed to provide quality education to the youth in our State and Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah initiated various steps in this regard, he added.
Earlier, students were also presented colourful cultural programme in the function including Dogri group dance, Punjabi group dance, Hindi dance, Himachal dance, Rajsthani dance, Dogri duet and various cultural items.
Mrs Zahida Khan, MLA Kathua and MLA Bimla Luthra were also address the function and express their opinion about the management to establishing educational institutions for providing quality education to the youth.
