GOC 16 Corps briefs Governor

JAMMU: Lt. Gen. A. S. Nandal, GOC, 16 Corps, called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here this afternoon and briefed him about the security situation in the area of responsibility of his Command.
During the meeting, the Governor and the GOC also discussed several important issues relating to the security management.
This was Lt. General Nandal’s first meeting with the Governor after taking over as the Corps Commander, 16 Corps, recently.
The Governor wished Lt. General Nandal a very successful tenure.
