German Ambassador visits Shalimar

Srinagar: German Ambassador and chief organizer of Zubin Mehta concert Michael Steiner Tuesday visited Shalimar Garden here to take stock of arrangements made by government for concert scheduled to be held on September 7.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Saturday had visited Shalimar Garden for the arrangements in connection with the Zubin Mehta music concert scheduled to be held on September 7.

Patently Syed Ali Shah Geelani has called for complete strike on the day while several other separatist leaders, including Hurriyat
Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq had objected to the cultural show, while civil society of Kashmir is simultaneously
holding a cultural event “Haqeeqat-e Kashmir” (The Reality of Kashmir) on September 7.
