Srinagar: Expressing resentment over killing of a civilian in Sopore on Sunday, Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said that such incidents were unfortunate. He expressed sympathy and solidarity with a family of deceased.
“Death of Abdur Rasheed Dar is very unfortunate. I express my solidarity and sympathy with the family of the deceased. I urge that civilian killings should be avoided and precious lives saved”, Geelani told.
Pertinetly, suspected militants attacked a Police party in Sopore on Sunday resulting in death of a civilian Abdur Rasheed Dar S/o Wali Mohammad Dar R/o Drusoo Rafiaabad and leaving one policeman Kishore Kumar critically injured.
