Geelani, Mirwaiz Continue Under House Arrest Shah, Hilal War Detained

Srinagar: After arresting around the one dozen of resistance leaders in wake of protest apprehensions after sending the Parliament Attack Case convict Afzal Guru to gallows, various resistance leaders were today released.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Javid Ahmad Mir, Advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi, Farooq Ahmad Sodagar,  Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Imtiyaz Haider, Mohammad Yousuf Nadeem, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Mohammad Yaseen Attayi and Mohammad Yousuf Bhat were today released, said Hurriyat sources.
Meanwhile, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Er. Hilal Ahmad War, Firdous Ahmad Shah, Ayaz Akbar and other various leasders has been put in central jail Srinagar.
Chairmen of both factions of the Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Continue under house arrest at their respective residences in New Delhi.
