FULL DRESS REHEARSAL OF PAKISTAN DAY

The full dress rehearsal of Pakistan Day parade is underway at Shakarparian Parade Ground in Islamabad.

Foot columns of Army, Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Frontier Corps, Northern Light Infantry, Mujahid Force and other services are participating in the rehearsal.

Strict security measures are in place in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi to avoid any untoward incident.

Meanwhile, Islamabad Traffic Police has chalked our a special traffic plan for Pakistan Day.

The traffic will remain close from Expressway Khanna pull, Faisal Avenue, Zero Point and Murree Road Rawal dam to Faizabad today. However people with security passes are being allowed to enter the venue.

According to the plan, the heavy traffic entry will not be allowed today, Tuesday and Thursday.

Traffic coming from Airport will use Khanna Pull to Tramari Chowk for entering Murree road. Similarly, Kashmir Highway would remain open for the traffic going to Aabpara, Bara Kahoo and Murree.

Mobile phone service has also been suspended in different parts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
