The shooting of the Bengali film ‘Take Care Bhalobasa’ began on July 4, 2025. The film revolves around the story of four friends and their relationships. Through this project, actor Susovan Sonu Roy is set to make his debut on the big screen. This is his first film, where he plays the role of Joy.
Susovan was born in Howrah and raised in Kolkata. He studied at Dum Dum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya, from where he completed his B.Com degree. Alongside academics, he trained in Western dance and performed in several stage shows.
He received his acting training under director Pijush Saha, attending workshops for nearly one and a half years. Afterwards, he began auditioning at various places. In 2019, he made his first appearance in the television serial Anandamoyee Maa on Aakash Aath. He later acted in several Star Jalsha productions, including Mohor, Kora Pakhi, Titli, and in 2021, Khelaghor.
Although the Covid-19 lockdown caused a temporary pause in his work, he started modeling in 2023. He has worked as a model with several brands such as Holiday Inn Hotel, Dabur, Titan Eye+, Velocity Eyewear, Amazon, Spencer’s, Campus Shoes, Big Bazaar, Biotique, and Fiama Di Wills.
In 2024, during a workshop, he came in contact with director Soumojit Adak. Following an audition, he was selected for the film.
