Fresh batch of 2,489 yatris leaves for Amaranth from Jammu

Jammu, Jul 5 : A fresh batch of Amarnath pilgrims today left for the cave shrine from the Bhagwati Nagar based Yatri Niwas base camp here.

“A total of 2489 pilgrims comprising 1812 males, 543 females and 34 children left for the Amarnath cave shrine this morning in a convoy of 76 vehicles including 54 Srinagar Road Transport Coporation (SRTC) buses and 22 Light Motor Vehicles,” official sources said.
