Jammu: A fresh batch of 1917 pilgrims today left for the holy Amarnath Cave Shrine situated in South Kashmir of Himalayas under tight security arrangements.
The pilgrims left from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatrai Niwas base camp here.
“The batch comprising 1360 men, 383 women, 24 children and 150 sadhus left at around 0700 hrs in a convoy of 61 vehicles including 42 SRTC buses, 07 private and 12 Light Motor Vehicles,” an official spokesman here said.
