Five killed as heavy rains inundate Guwahati

Guwahati, Jun 27 (KMW): At least five people have been killed following heavy rains that flooded most parts of the capital city, causing largescale devastation.

Landslides were reported at several places, mostly in the hills in and around the city.

Three of a family were killed in the Bhangagarh area following a wall collapse due to landslide, official sources said. They were identified as Kanak Barman, Tulasi Barman and Pratima Barman.
