Five Indian victims of Malaysian air crash identified

New Delhi, Mar 9 (KMW): The five Indians who were on board the Malaysian Airlines flight that is reported to have crashed into the South China Sea have been identified.

Officials here said yesterday among the victims three were women and two men who were identified as Chetna Kolkar(55), Chandrika Sharma(51) and Kranti Shirsath(44), Swanand Kolekar,(23) and Vinod Kolekar(59).

The Boeing 777-200 aircraft carrying 239 people lost contact over the South China Sea yesterday, while it was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
