Fayaz, Nazir, Shamsher, Azad declared winner for RS

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 7:-The Returning Officer for the Election to the Council of States by the elected members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mr. Mohammad Ramzan, declared Mir Mohammad Fayaz and Nazir Ahmed Laway of PDP, Shamsher Singh of BJP and Ghulam Nabi Azad of INC duly elected to be Members of Council of States (Rajya Sabha).
Mir Mohammad Fayaz secured 56 votes, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo 29 votes and NOTA 1. Shamsher Singh of BJP secured 57 votes, Nasir Aslam Wani of NC secured 29 votes, Ghulam Nabi Azad of INC got 30 votes, Nazir Ahmed Laway of PDP 29 and Chander Mohan Sharma of BJP secured 28 votes.
