Farooq welcomes PM statement on Indo-Pak ties

Srinagar: Ruling National Conference president and Minster for New and Renewable Energy in Government of India, Dr Farooq Abdullah Monday welcomed the statement of Prime Minster, Dr Manmohan Singh about the resolution of all Indo-Pak issue through dialogue.
“Dr Manmohan Singh is a peace loving personality and wants to resolve all the outstanding issues including Kashmir with the Pakistan as is evident from his statement about improving friendly ties between the two countries,” Abdullah said in a statement to.
He said that the strong friendly relations between New Delhi and Islamabad were in favour of people in people countries. “Strong friendly ties are the need of the hour for the betterment, prosperity and the goodwill of the both countries,” said Abdullah.
The 74-year-old underlined that resolution of Kashmir issue was imperative for peace in entire south Asia.
‘National Conference has time and again reiterated that the party works like a pull for better ties between the two neighbours.”
