Srinagar, August 28:  According to experts the third wave of pandemic Coronavirus is about to knock doors in India, the countries like USA, Iran, UK are already suffering due to latest Covid waves.

With all this in mind it looks the Precautions are being thrown out of window in Kashmir. Masses are calling on the authorities to show more concern.

The most worrying fact is that many beggars, low income end from different states are filling Kashmir without showing any Precautions or wearing masks. They can be seen in entire Boulevard stretch and other tourist spots. Neither are they following any SOPs or Covid rules.

Thus Kashmir is being flooded with non entity in name of tourism which can be a ticking bomb for rapid spread of Coronavirus in Kashmir.

Masses are urging the authorities to have Covid tests of all people visiting Kashmir not just on airports or bus terminals but in tourist areas as well.

All this becomes important in light of the fact that the Centre Saturday asked all states and union territories today only to ensure there is no large gathering during the upcoming festival season and, if necessary, impose local restrictions to check the spread of coronavirus.

On the other hand of the spectrum, recent findings suggested by VK Paul, Head of the COVID task force, NITI Aayog, have hinted that India may see up to 6L cases a day in the coming months, and may possibly, be worrisome for the pediatric population.

In light of all this mad flow of people in to Kashmir needs to be checked.
