Kargil, July 21, 2024: Executive Councilor (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj / Cooperative / FCS&CA / Forest & Wild Life / Information), Er. Phunchok Tashi alongwith Rajesh Director Ronmas India Pvt Ltd consultant for Snow Ski Lift and Winter Dport Academy approved scheme of Department of Youth Service and Sport UT Ladakh today during his visit to Ating village to see the ski slopes.

Naib Tehsildar Hasnin Mir and SHO Zanskar, Gyaltsen as well as people of Ating were also present.

The EC appealed the villagers of Atting to engage in the development of ski slopes and snow ski lift to boost their economy.

The administration wishes to host snow skiing during Zanskar Winter Sport Festival on this ski slope. Zonal Physical Education Officer Zanskar also accompanied the visitors.
