‘Govt will arrange post-exam coaching for students for competitive examinations’

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 18: Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti today said the upcoming board exams shall be held as per schedule.

“The Government is exploring various options in consultation with the Education Department, the State Board of School Education (BOSE) and other stakeholders to ensure you have more options and your academic year is not lost,” the Chief Minister told the students from different schools of the city who called on her, here today.

The Chief Minister said the examinations shall be held as per the already announced schedule. She, however, assured the students that the Government will arrange special coaching classes to help them prepare for various competitive examinations like CET, NEET, JEE etc.

She said even during the prevailing disturbances, several examinations including competitive tests were conducted successfully and the students appeared in such exams overwhelmingly.

The Chief Minister also urged the parents to wholeheartedly support the endeavor of the government to safeguard the academic future of their wards.
