With an aim to heed the problems of vocational trainers who are in Press Enclave since past one week ,Fayaz Shah President Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee JKECC and
Mrs. Jagmeet Kour President, Minority Employees Female Wing visited them today and had an holistic overview of their issues.
They expressed grave concern that the School Education Department (SED) in the last more than six years, has engaged more than 1100 vocational trainers and they see a bleak future ahead as the government has not framed any job policy for the skilled lot.
Fayaz Shah President JKECC stated that it is sad to point out that there has been no enhancement in their monthly salaries since their appointment in the department. He urged the government to take measures to address their issues .
On the otherhand, Jagmeet Kour made it clear that these vocational trainers are pained with the government’s indifferent attitude, and so for their diverse genuine demands the vocational trainers are on a peaceful sit-in protest for the last one week here at Press Enclave Srinagar.
Both the leaders assured the vocational trainees that their burning demands of seeking salary hike and job policy to secure their future would be highlighted in a civilized way.
