Eight injured in a road mishaps

Srinagar, (KMW News): Eight persons were injured in different motor vehicle accidents across the valley.

A pedestrian, Abdul Rehman Thokar son of Abdul Samad resident of Waghama was hit and injured by a Tata Sumo bearing registration number 8403-JK03C on the National Highway at Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment. Bijbehara police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number 6348-JK01D and a Maruti car bearing registration number 3173-JK01E collided at Bemina crossing, in the jurisdiction of Police Post Bemina, resulting in injuries to the driver of the Maruti car. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Bemina Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a picnic Bus bearing registration number 9651-JK01E carrying students of a school while returning from Anantnag towards Pattan hit a Tavera bearing registration No. 5168-JK01F near Sanat-Nagar NHW, in the jurisdiction of Police station Sadder, resulting in injuries to 03 passengers, who were travelling in the Tavera. All the injured have been shifted to Hospital for treatment. Sadder Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a lady Mst. Asha Begum wife of Mohammad Yaseen Bijra resident of Kalakoot, Rajouri was injured when she was hit by an Army vehicle. The injured lady was shifted to SKIMS Soura from Sub District Hospital, Kangan. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, A Tata sumo bearing registration number JK03A/7919 hit and injured five years old Hadiq Arshid daughter of Arshid Ahmad Dar and Yasmeena Shafi age seven years daughter of Mohammad Shafi residents of Gund Kohroo on NHW, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of Police station Handwara. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment. Handwara Police has registered a case in this regard.
