New Delhi, June 9 A Delhi court on Thursday extended the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) custody of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain till June 13 whose house was raided three days ago.
The ED arrested Jain on May 30.
Counsel for ED said Jain needed to be confronted regarding Rs 2.85 crore and 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg seized from others.
The ED said it conducted raids at the premises of Ankush Jain, Vaibhav Jain, Naveen Jain and Siddharth Jain of Ram Prakash Jewellers Pvt Ltd, G.S. Matharoo, Yogesh Kumar Jain, and made the seizures.
The ED had earlier provisionally attached immovable properties worth Rs 4.81 crore belonging to companies beneficially owned and controlled by Jain on March 31.
