The EC also visited the Indus View Point, located at the edge of India’s forward area along the Line of Control (LoC), offering a unique view of the Indus River as it meanders into Pakistan-Occupied Baltistan (POB). He inquired about the footfall of tourists and civilians at the viewpoint and instructed officials to explore the possibility of constructing a cafeteria at the location.

He was informed that around 800 domestic and international tourists have visited this year in the area. He emphasized that the spot could be included in the itinerary of the Tourism Department and AKKTA to promote tourism in the border region. Kacho directed the Tourism department to promote the area for both tourism and economic growth for locals.
