EC Tashi visits Zangla village to assess local issues, interacts with residents

Kargil, March 9: Executive Councillor Tourism Development Authority Zanskar, FCS&CA/RDD, Er. Phunchok Tashi; Councillor Padum constituency and Incharge SDM Zanskar, Mohd Hassan, today visited Zangla village to assess local issues and interact with residents.

During the visit, EC Tashi and Incharge SDM engaged with the villagers, attentively listened to their grievances and assured them necessary interventions. The visit aimed to strengthen the administration’s outreach and ensure grassroots participation in governance.

As part of the initiative to support community infrastructure, the Executive Councillor and Incharge SDM distributed Ladakhi traditionally designed tables to the community halls of the various hamlets Pishu, Pidmo, Hanamur, Zangla and Chazar of village Zangla under the CDF Fund of Councillor constituency Padum. This step reflects the commitment of the administration towards preserving Ladakhi cultural heritage while enhancing public utility spaces.

The villagers expressed their gratitude for the visit and the developmental support extended by the administration. The Executive Councillor assured that the concerns raised during the interaction would be addressed in a timely manner.
