Drivers rue apathy on Ladakh Srinagar road

Srinagar, November 15: More than 200 Drivers are trapped at Minimarg near Sonmarg, returning from Ladakh region to Kashmir valley since 3 days.

Firdous Ahmad Wani, a representative of Truck Drivers phoned Kashmir Media Watch from spot.

The Drivers stated that despite road being all clear they are not being allowed to move since 3 days and are on brink of starvation and pain. Many of them have fallen sick they claim.

Drivers urged the concerned authorities to heed to their pain and sufferings and let them a smooth movement.

Drivers feared if they are not allowed a smooth movement there is every chance of they getting trapped for long due to snowfall. They affirmed that this can lead to bigger tragedy.
