Pulwama, April 30 (KMW): About two dozen youth have been arrested by police during nocturnal raids in Murran and Kangan area of South kashmir.
Reports state police laid siege over the twin villages and conducted identification of the youth.
Pertinently last week, for several times massive clashes had erupted in the Murran area where forces had to resort to aerial firing and tear gas shelling to disperse protesters.
Further an official while confirming the arrest of the youth said that they have been picked up as they are involved in recent stone pelting incidents in the area.
