Div Com discusses Amarnath Yatra arrangements

JAMMU, APRIL 18- Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today visited Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar and discussed arrangements for Shri Amarnath Yatra.
While addressing a meeting held at Yatri Niwas with officers of all concerned departments, the Divisional Commissioner asked them to work in synergy for smooth conduct of yatra.
Dr. Kotwal discussed various arrangements for the yatra including accommodation, security, traffic arrangements, water, power, food, hygiene and sanitation etc.
It was informed that Facilities of Super Bazaar, BSNL facilitation center, medical services, booking office of J&K SRTC, Cloak Room and banking facility by J&K Bank will be made available to yatris at yatri Niwas.
Divisional Commissioner also took a round of Yatri Niwas and inspected facilities there.
IGP Jammu, S.D. Singh Jamwal, DC Jammu, Anuradha Gupta besides senior officers of various departments accompanied the Divisional Commissioner.
