District Level India Skills Competition 2025 for Graphic Designing Technology Held at GDC Kargil

Kargil, November 27: The District Level, India Skills Competition 2025 for Graphic Designing Technology was successfully held today at Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil, providing a platform for young creative minds to showcase their talent and gain exposure in the field of modern skill development.

The programme was inaugurated by Principal GDC Kargil, Disket Angmo, along with Dr. Javed Iqbal, UT Nodal Officer for Skill Courses, Higher Education UT Ladakh, Incharge Superintendent ITI Kargil, Skill Convenor of GDC, skill trainers, and student participants.

Delivering the welcome address, Dr. Javed Iqbal highlighted the importance of India Skill Development competitions at the district and national levels. He informed that GDC Kargil has previously participated in the 2024 edition in the same category and continues its journey of skill enhancement with greater zeal this year. He further shared that UT Ladakh is competing in three trades: Graphic Designing, Beauty Therapy, and Fashion Technology and briefed participants about the stages involved in the India Skills competition process.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Disket Angmo lauded the initiative as a meaningful step toward empowering youth and aligning education with industry relevant skills. She appreciated the interest and participation of the students, noting that stepping into such competitions is an achievement in itself. She encouraged participants to strive for excellence, contribute to regional progress, and embrace skills as an essential part of their educational and professional journey.
