Srinagar, July 13: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, continued its grand exhibition today, marking the fourth of the 5-day Multimedia Exhibition event commemorating the 9 Years of Governance, G-20 Presidency, Mission Life and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav at SP Higher Secondary School.

The programme was graced by Dr Tasaduq Hussain Mir (JKAS) Director School Education Kashmir as Chief Guest. Rajinder Choudhary, Additional  Director General CBC, J&K and Ladakh, Ghulam Abbas, Joint Director CBC, J&K and Ladakh, Mohd Shabir, Chief Education Officer, Srinagar, Nisar Ahmad, Principal SP Higher Secondary School and others were also present on the occasion.

The exhibition aims to highlight the achievements and progress made by the Government of India during its G-20 Presidency and celebrate the spirit of freedom in the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava.

Dr. Mir delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to become brand ambassadors and effectively communicate various government schemes to the people around them.

He expressed his gratitude for being part of such a significant event. He emphasized the crucial role that students can play as ambassadors of the government’s schemes, stressing the importance of effective communication to create awareness and ensure that benefits reach every citizen. Dr. Mir encouraged the students to take an active interest in the nation’s development and contribute towards its growth.

Choudhary expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders and participants for turning up in great numbers to visit the exhibition. He thanked School Education Department, Health and Family Welfare Department, Employment and Skill Development Department and various other departments who contributed in the exhibition.

Ghulam Abbas expressed gratitude to all the stakeholders and participants for turning up in great numbers to visit the exhibition. He said that the exhibition has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response, with attendees praising the government’s efforts to showcase its achievements and initiatives.

The fourth day of the event was dedicated to the awareness of the schemes launched for the welfare of students and it included PMKVY, UMEED, PMEGP and PMSS (Pre Matric and Post Matric). Mr Ruheed Gul from the Department of Education presented an expert Lecture on NEP 2020.

The exhibition, which has garnered tremendous public interest since its inauguration, showcases the remarkable initiatives undertaken by the Government of India in various sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure and technology. Visitors are treated to a captivating display of interactive exhibits, informative presentations, and engaging activities, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the nation’s progress under the G-20 Presidency.

Visitors lauded the comprehensive display of information, which has fostered a deeper understanding of the nation’s progress and the impact of the government’s policies on their lives.

The 5-day exhibition will continue till Friday with a diverse range of programs and activities planned to engage and educate the attendees. Citizens from all walks of life are encouraged to attend and witness the transformative journey of the Government of India during its G-20 presidency and participate in the celebrations of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
