Srinagar, Feb 10(KMW): In order to augment rural area health care delivery services, Dr.Kunzes, Director Health Services Kashmir today had an extensive tour of district Baramulla. While on way she had surprise visit of SDH Sopore. It was observed that all the staff was present and cleanliness of the hospitals was maintained. She stressed for dress code in order to enable the public at large and patients in particular to identify the health care personnel at various levels as per the standing instructions. While interacting with public and patients she assured of augmented health care services after listening to their demands. DHSK took on spot stock of ongoing construction work and directed CMO and BMO to take up the matter with concerned executing agency for early completion of the project. DHSK visited PHC Tujjer Sharief. Staff of facility was found present. Cleanliness was observed not up to the mark and on spot instructions we’re passed on to BMO to adhere to standing instructions in this regard. FMPHWs posted were delivering their legitimate duties with utmost dedication which was appreciated by DHSK. While taking round of the sections it was observed that every section was functional. She laid stress for the dress code maintenance while interacting with the staff of the said hospital. During the interaction with the delegations of the areas, she also insisted on the community participation that ultimately serves the purpose to reach out with honest gestures of dedication thereby admitting the responsibilities on both sides for better delivery care system. The public delegations hailed the administrative capabilities of Dr.Kunzes Dolma with the hope that health care delivery services shall be upgraded too during her tenure as director. While interacting with the patients and their attendants, it was observed that they were satisfied with the services being provided at the health institution. Public at large appreciated the administrative vision of DHSK for having visited on Sunday the facilities in the interest of patient care. Social Activists have hailed the move of Dr Kunzes of touring on Sunday to monitor and supervise on spot health care delivery services being provided to the public at large. Such monitoring being need of the hour shall definitely augment the services of punctuality, care, professional ethics in managing treatment and emergencies, they added.
