Srinagar, Apr 15 (KMW): A high-level meeting was convened Wednesday in Srinagar to discuss the issues pertaining to problems faced by passengers traveling from Srinagar Airport.
According to a statement issued to KMW, the meeting was chaired by DGP J&K and officers from Security, CID, CRPF, Airport Authority of India and other wings attended the meeting and various aspects pertaining to the issue were discussed. It was felt in the meeting that without compromising the security of the airport steps can be taken to ease out the hassles faced by the people. With due consideration to the fact that there has been a perceptible improvement in security situation it was decided to take immediate steps to decongest the access system so that people don’t face hardships and unpleasant experience. Accordingly all concerned were directed to ensure that necessary steps are taken forthwith.
