Rajouri, Feb 24(KMW): DGP Prisons Dilbag Singh today convened a security review meeting with the offices of the Police and district administration here.
Range DIG (Rajouri-Poonch) Deepak Kumar Salathia, District Magistrate, Rajouri Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Senior Superintendent of Police Yogal Kumar Manhas, Addl SP HQ M. Yousef, SDPO Manjakote Imtiaz Ahmed and Dy SP Headquarter Jaswant Singh participated in the meeting.
The DG Prisons also conducted a tour of District Jail Rajouri in village Dhagri and inspected the jail premises, besides interacting with prison inmates to hear out and address their grievances.
Singh suggested security improvements with regard to the gadgetry and infrastructure. He expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements and management of the prison within the available resources.
He was accompanied by DIG Range, Dy. Commissioner, SSP Rajouri, his staff officer besides in-charge Superintendent of Jail Rafiq Ahmed and Company Commander of CRPF.
