DG Prisons Visits Bhaderwah District Jail

Jammu, 13 March(KMW): DG Prisons Dilbagh Singh visited Chenab valley today and took stock of the ongoing work of new District Jail Bhaderwah. He was accompanied by Shabir Ahmed, SSP Doda, Rajinder Kumar, Addl. SP Bhaderwah, Maj. Ambarish Mehta, Officiating Commandant of 4 RR, Brijesh Kumar, SDPO Bhaderwah besides the officers of local administration and Prisons Directorate. During the inspection; the additional security requirement with regard to infrastructure and modern security gadgets was also noted and on the spot directions were issued to the field staff. Singh expressed his satisfaction over the quality of work. However, he also directed the concerned officers to speed it up, so that the much awaited completion and commissioning of District Jail Bhaderwah is taken up.

Later in the evening a security review meeting was also held at Police headquarters Doda to assess the prevailing situation in the district.
