Srinagar, Feb 17 (KMW) :Acknowledging crucial role of Anganwadi workers in making country polio free, Srinagar Unit of Directorate of Field Publicity organized a programme in ICDS Zone Iddgah. The programme was part of a weeklong campaign of awareness programmes on various segments of Bharat Nirman. Besides local people, Anganwadi workers of the area participated in the programme. They were facilitated with momento’s by the DFP. Speakers highlighted the overall improvement brought about through implementation of flagship programmes in various key sectors including healthcare. Among others, district officer ICDS Matura Masum and assistant director DFP Srinagar M.A. Tantray addressed the gathering and lauded the role of Aganwadi workers.(KMW)
