DEO/DC Srinagar reviews preparations for Lok Sabha Elections

SRINAGAR MARCH 19:- Deputy Commission(DC/DEO) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, who is also the District Election Officer today chaired a meeting of AROs of District Srinagar here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office Complex۔

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ARO- Zadibal), Dr Khalid Hussain Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ARO- Hazratbal), Syed Ahmad Kataria and  all other Assistant Returning Officers(AROs) of the District,  and other concerned officers/officials including Deputy District Election Officer, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz were present in the meeting.

At the outset, the DEO/DC Srinagar held a detailed discussion with the Assistant Returning Officers(AROs) to review the arrangements being made for establishment of Strong Rooms at designated locations for safe custody & preparation of EVMs.

The DC/DEO asked the AROs to visit their respective Strong Rooms and take up necessary measures for establishment of Strong Rooms, besides other required works.
