Delhi High Court directs proper medical treatment for Morani

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today directed the Superintendent of Tihar jail to ensure proper medical treatment to Cineyug Films director Karim Morani, who is in jail in connection with the 2G scam.Justice Ajit Bharioke sought a detailed medical report of Morani and directed the Jail Superintendent to submit the same to the court along with the report of the treatment he is already undergoing with his own doctor in the next two days.Senior advocate Siddarth Luthra, appearing for Morani, has applied for interim bail for Morani on the grounds of his deteriorating health.The court directed the Tihar officials to submit a detailed report on the medical condition of Morani by Monday and posted the matter for that day.
