Jammu, December 03(KMW): Reacting to the statement of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Minister for Agriculture and President of DPN, Mr Ghulam Hassan Mir today said that to make Article 370 a point of debate would credirdirate mistrust among the people of Jammu and Kashmir and rest of the country.

In a statement issued here today, the Minister said that with the struggle of all mainstream political parties and cooperation of the people of the state, J&K is coming out from two decades turmoil adding that for which all of us including the BJP should work to strengthen the process instead creating wedge between J&K and centre.
Mr Mir said that our vision should be to bring people of J&K more and more closer to centre and put together their confidence that future of the J&K is safe under the flourishing democracy of India. He said that such statements would derail the process of uniting the people of J&K for nation building which was supported by all the mainstream political leaders of the State and Centre including the stalwarts of BJP. He said Modi’s Statement have the potential to “increase trust-deficit between the state and rest of the country.
