Kargil, February 05: Deputy Commissioner/ CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting at his office chamber to discuss establishment of Tribal Multi-purpose Market/Tribal Mart in Kargil district.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue/DSWO, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Executive Officer Municipal Committee and representative of R&B.

The establishment of the Tribal Mart is aimed to support the various self help groups, Van Dhan Vikas Kendra by providing them spaces to sell their products.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officers to make comprehensive proposal for establishment of the tribal mart. 

He also instructed the DR Cooperatives to provide space for the same purpose at the Cooperatives market complex at Sankoo.
