KULGAM, APRIL 29: In order to take first hand appraisal of the situation which has arisen due to rains in the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan today visited Brazloo, Adpora, Chambagund and other areas of the district and took detailed stock of situation arisen due to rains.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that they are closely monitoring the situation and urged the people to contact the helpline numbers 9103424365, 01931-295900 in case of any assistance.
In light of the current weather conditions citizens were strongly advised against venturing near water bodies as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incidents.
The DC was accompanied by ACD, Syed Naseer Ahmad, ACR Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Tehsildar Kulgam, AEE irrigation & Flood Control and other officers.
