BARAMULLA, FEBRUARY 02: In view of the Shab-e-Meraj, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, accompanied by the concerned officers, today visited Hazrat Syed Janbaz Wali RA shrine at Khanpora Baramulla to take stock of the arrangements in place for the celebration of auspicious occasion.

During the visit, the DC engaged with the members of local Auqaf Committee to address their concerns regarding arrangements for the celebration of Meraj-un-Nabi (SAW) at the Dargah. Minga Sherpa assured them that all the necessary arrangements would be put in place for the convenience of the devotees visiting the shrine on the occasion.

The DC directed the PHE authorities to make arrangements for adequate water supply at the Shrine to ensure that devotees would not encounter any inconvenience during the auspicious occasion.

Similarly, the PDD officers were entrusted with continuous and uninterrupted power supply at the Shrine to provide devotees with a seamless and undisturbed environment for their religious observance.

The DC also directed the EO Municipal Council Baramulla to deploy sufficient men and machinery at the venue to ensure proper cleanliness in and around the Shrine.
