JAMMU, NOVEMBER 30: The Government on Monday informed that 370 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 181 from Jammu division and 189 from Kashmir division, have been reported today thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 110224. Also 09 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 06 from Jammu division and 03 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover,483 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 202 from Jammu Division and 281 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 110224 positive cases, 4965 are Active Positive, 103565 have recovered and 1694 have died; 590 in Jammu division and 1104 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 3014877 test results available, 2904653 samples have been tested as negative till November 30, 2020.
Till date 788608 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 20030 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4965 in isolation and 37572 in home surveillance. Besides, 724347 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 23059 positive cases (including 84cases reported today) with 1124 Active Positive, 21519 recovered (including 125 cases recovered today), 416 deaths; Baramulla has 7455 positive cases (including 18 cases reported today) with 308 Active Positive, 6984 recovered (including 33 cases recovered today), 163deaths; Pulwama reported 5109 positive cases (including 22 case reported today) with 150 active positive cases, 4873 recovered (including 19 cases recovered today), 86 deaths; Kulgam has 2593 positive cases (including 02 case reported today) with 52 Active Positive, 2490 recoveries (including 00 cases recovered today), 51 deaths; Shopian has 2348 positive cases (including 00 case reported today) with 74 Active Positive, 2237 recovered (including 00 cases recovered today) and 37 deaths; Anantnag district has 4553positive cases (including 07 cases reported today) with 119 Active Positive, 4356 recovered (including 19cases recovered today), 78 deaths; Budgam has 6895 positive cases (including 19 cases reported today) with 231 Active Positive and 6563 recovered (including 42 cases recovered today), 101 deaths; Kupwara has 5198 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today) with 234 Active Positive, 4881 recovered (including 14 cases recovered today), 83 deaths; Bandipora has 4418 positive cases (including 08 cases reported today) with 144 Active Positive, 4223 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today), 51 deaths and Ganderbal has 4207 positive cases (including 23 cases reported today) with 196 active positive cases, 3973recoveries (including 21 cases recovered today)and 38 deaths.
Similarly, Jammu has20677 positive cases (including 81 cases reported today) with 659 active positive cases, 19718 recoveries (including 90 cases recovered today), 300 deaths; Rajouri has 3487 positive cases (including 17 cases reported today) with 151 active positive cases, 3287 recovered (including 08 cases recovered today), 49 deaths; Ramban has 1925 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 136 active positive, 1771 recoveries (including 01 cases recovered today) and 18 deaths; Kathua has 2800 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today) with 104 Active positive, 2659 recovered (including 17 cases recovered today), 37 deaths; Udhampur has 3565 positive cases (including 26 cases reported today) with 440 active positive cases, 3076 recovered (including 48 cases recovered today) and 49 deaths; Samba has 2480 positive cases (including 15 cases reported today) with 209 Active Positive, 2239 recoveries (including 00 cases recovered today) and 32 deaths; Doda has 3111 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 235 active positive cases, 2820 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today), 56 deaths; Poonch has 2391 positive cases (including 01cases reported today) with 56 active positive, 2313 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today), 22 deaths; Reasi has 1459 positive cases with 88 active positive, 1362 recoveries and 09 deaths while Kishtwar has 2494 positive cases (including 16 cases reported today) with 255 active positive cases and 2221 recoveries (including 28 cases recovered today) and 18 deaths.
According to the bulletin, among the total 110224 positive cases in J&K, 10762 have been reported as travelers while 99462 as others.
The Bulletin said that the breakup represents districts from which the patients have been traced or are ordinarily residing.
The bulletin added that there are 1306 COVID dedicated beds, 1170 Isolation beds with 989 vacant beds and 136 ICU beds where 76 beds are vacant in Jammu division while there are 2345 COVID dedicated beds, 2197 Isolation beds where 1797 beds are vacant and 148 ICU beds where 118 are vacant beds in Kashmir division. There are total of 3651 COVID dedicated beds, 3367 Isolation beds with 2786 beds vacant and 284 ICU beds with 194 vacant beds in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Central Government is continuously monitoring the evolving situation of Covid-19 in the Union Territory and is providing all necessary support towards effective containment of the spread of Covid-19 and better clinical management of positive cases.
