Corruption increased in J&K during NC-Cong rule: AICC

Srinagar, Oct 28 : Admitting that corruption during the National Conference (NC) and Congress coalition rule had increased in Jammu and Kashmir, All India Congress Committee (AICC) member Abdul Gani Vakil alleged that Chief minister Omar Abdullah failed to check corruption, nepotism and delay in execution of developmental projects.

Expressing confidence that Congress will form the next government in the state, Mr Vakil, a former minister, alleged that regional parties are only exploiting innocent people on issues of accession, autonomy and self rule.
