Srinagar, Apr 19 : All colleges across the Kashmir valley remained closed for the second day today, while the Kashmir University (KU) and Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) have decided to conduct all scheduled examinations today.
However, class work in both the universities will remain suspended as authorities fear trouble.
Meanwhile, near normal attendance was recorded in schools.
Majority schools remained closed yesterday for fear of trouble after massive protests were held in educational institutions on April 17 demanding action against security forces who entered Degree College at Pulwama and allegedly used force against students injuring move than 60 of them, including girls.
Apprehending trouble, the Divisional Administration had ordered closure of all colleges in the Kashmir valley for the second day today.
