CM meets Governor

JAMMU:- Mr. Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister, met Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here today.
During their hour and a half meeting, the Governor and the Chief Minister discussed various important issues relating to the State which included, interalia, the establishment of the Panchayati Raj institutions, elections to the Urban Local Bodies and Cooperative Societies, early setting up of watchdog Commissions, the measures being considered to eradicate corruption and for the time-bound completion of major development projects.
The Chief Minister briefed the Governor about security management issues.
