Srinagar, Feb 17 (KMW): Chief Patron Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) Muhammad Azam Inqilabi Monday condemned the statement of Indian Defence Minister A. K. Antony wherein he backed Army on Pathribal fake encounter case.
In a statement here, Inqilabi said, “By ruling out any action against perpetrators of Pathribal fake encounter, despite CBI and Indian court verdict indicting army personnel, proved that Indian army has full freedom to indulge in slaughter of Kashmiris to suppress the freedom struggle.â€
He said this statement by the Indian Minister coupled with ‘draconian legislations’ provide complete impunity to Indian troops and “encourages them to act as General Dyer in Kashmir.â€
MeA patron said in this situation UJC Supremo Syed-Salahu-ud-din shouldn’t “wait for any miracle†to happen.
“Battles of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) are also miracles. Salah-ud-din sahab should carefully analyze Tafheem-ul-Quran, Vol. 2- Surah Tauba. He will find during battle of Tabouk alertness instead of dilatoriness played vital role,†he said.
He said in the battle of Tabouk before Byzantine army deployment Prophet Muhammad (SAW) arrived at Tabouk with his 30000-strong army.
“Even after 20 days there was no fight, Byzantines thought it better not to fight to save themselves and thus it had long term strategic consequence in favour of Muslims,†he added.
Inqilabi said the way of Tabouk battle is a solution to many of our issues.
He appealed Salahu-ud-din to stop his guerilla fighters temporarily across the LoC and in “aloneness ponder for few hoursâ€.
“He (Salah-ud-din) will come to conclusion that just by show of strength we can achieve the desired objective.â€
Elaborating, he said, fighters should derive inspiration from Tabouk battle. “You should prepare an army of few lakh conscious Azad Kashmir youth volunteers. The day it happens, India will be forced to start tripartite talks. And in this way without any fight Kashmir will be resolved.â€
“But it is also essential that during this preparedness Arab countries stop oil export to India for minimum three months,†he said in the statement.
Commenting Indo-Pak trade in Kashmir, Inqilabi termed it a step towards “strengthening the status-quoâ€.
“We reject this politics of onions and potatoes. This hypocritical politics has added to our miseries. We need to put up resistance in a new way,†he said.
