On Children’s Day Asiea Naqash visits G B Pant Hospital

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 14(KMW): Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiea Naqash, today attended a function organized in connection with the Children’s Day at G B Pant Hospital and distributed toys and sweets among the kids there.

Interacting with the attendants at the hospital, the Minister enquired about the status of the healthcare facilities being provided to the new born babies and other children undergoing treatment at the hospital.

She directed the doctors to ensure that best possible medical services are provided to the patients.

The Minister expressed satisfaction over the overall functioning of the hospital. She asked the hospital management to facilitate the poor patients with free medical care and clinical tests.

Later, the Minister visited Zakura and reviewed the progress of work on mini- maternity hospital, which is being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 12.83 crore. She asked the executing agency to expedite the work so that it is completed at the earliest.
